With Tarjimly’s Interpreter Hotline, Compudopt was able to support Vietnamese elders in registering for free computers.
Language shouldn’t get in the way of accessing the tools and support people need and neither should technology. That’s why we’re proud to work with organizations like Compudopt, whose mission is to provide free computers and tech education to youth and families who need it most.
Recently, Isabel Pacheco from Compudopt told us how Tarjimly helped her team reach Vietnamese-speaking elders in Santa Clara, California:
“Tarjimly allowed me the opportunity to communicate over the phone with elderly individuals in Santa Clara, CA who speak Vietnamese. They were able to receive information on how to register for a free laptop device through our non-profit, and they were incredibly appreciative of having these translation services available. I found the service easy to use, and thankful to have this as a resource in our Compudopt Support Center.”

Through our Interpreter Hotline, one of Tarjimly’s professional services, Compudopt was able to reach individuals who might otherwise be left behind due to language barriers. This hotline provides on-demand access to professional interpreters in over 200 languages, ensuring that nonprofits, schools, healthcare providers, and more can offer clear and compassionate support.
We’re grateful to Compudopt for sharing this story and for the vital work they do.
