Who we are

The Problem

There are over 37 million refugees worldwide, and this number continues to grow. What’s even more concerning is that 44% of these refugees can’t communicate with the very people trying to help them.

Our Mission

Our mission is to eliminate humanitarian language barriers at a global scale, increasing the efficiency of humanitarian services and improving the lives of refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants.

Our Solution

The Tarjimly App connects users with live interpreters for 175+ languages in under 2 minutes, offering three product tiers for beneficiaries, humanitarians, and organizations.
Tarjimly believes human translators paired with our AI tool remain crucial for accurate translations in low-resource languages and critical in humanitarian settings.

Our Future Projects

Data Hub

Tarjimly Data Hub leverages human edits made to Tarjimly FirstPass translations to create a feedback loop for training LLMs for low-resource languages, improving their accuracy, helping launch new languages, and bridging the digital divide.

Terms Trainings for LLMs

Tarjimly plans to fine-tune LLMs on terms and acronyms used in the humanitarian setting to ensure accurate and respectful translations that are well-received by the vulnerable populations served.
